DHCPatriot 7.2.0 has entered the beta testing phase. Some key features of this version: DHCPv6 API features added. The DHCPatriot DHCPv6 implementation has now achieved feature parity with DHCPv4. Log4j Vulnerability CVE-2021-44228 and the DHCPatriot	2021-12-17 14:34:19
Recently, there has been an important vulnerability prominently featured in the news (CISA Creates Webpage for Apache Log4j Vulnerability CVE-2021-44228) affecting the Apache log4j package that is used for logging messages from java applications in various ways. We have received many questions about this vulnerability and the DHCPatriot system. Rest assured that the DHCPatriot system is not affected by this vulnerability. The reason being that we do not use the log4j package and thusly it is not installed on the system at all. As always, please let us know if you have any questions! DHCPatriot 7.1.0 Enters Beta	2021-11-23 20:14:56
DHCPatriot 7.1.0 has entered the beta testing phase. Some key features of this version: ISC DHCP for DHCPv6 has been replaced with a new DHCP daemon called Kea in this version. This will help overcome some reporting bugs that were plaguing the DHCPv6 implementation on the DHCPatriot system as well as provide a performance enhancement. Binary option 82 data can now be supported as long as it is encoded as hex. A toggle for this support can be found in `System Configuration -> General Setup`. Static prefix delegations for DHCPv6 may now be supplied via RADIUS and may be set in `Auth DHCP Actions -> Built-in Authentication: User Maintenance` if not using an external RADIUS server.
