DHCPatriot 6.2.2 bugfix release2018-07-23 13:49:38
6.2.2, a minor bugfix revision for 6.2.0, has been released. Patch notes below:
  1. There was a slight problem with DHCPv6 and lease length overrides causing sessions to sometimes not get recorded. This has been fixed.
  2. On error 404, we are now using a 302 redirect to the correct page. It was found that this causes Microsoft Windows 10 to more readily understand how to use the Captive Portal page.
  3. Corrected problem where DHCPv6 backend programs would sometimes stop processing events due to sessions not existing (as they had already been closed) for some newly encountered event. It now issues a warning and moves on in the same way that DHCPv4 does.
  4. Repaired a problem where it was impossible to edit the authentication server setting in Auth DHCP Config -> Authentication. Editing produced an error saying the server ip was invalid. The entry had to be deleted and added again with the correct info. This has been fixed and editing is again possible.
We will only be installing this on systems that are affected by any of these bugs.

DHCPatriot 6.2.1 bugfix release2018-06-22 11:21:49
This release contains a minor fix for RADIUS. The Class attribute (25), if received in the auth- response packet, must be sent back to the RADIUS server in the accounting start packet according to RFC. Version 6.2.0 had a bug where this was not happening. This has been resolved in 6.2.1.
